Sleep Today For a Healthy Tomorrow

Samy Nickbakht, the founder of UniCare Sleep Center, has made an extensive study on the sleep disorders of people that eventually led to provide people with solutions.

The centre founded by him carries out sleep study otherwise called Polysomnogram (PSG). This is a multiple-component test which electronically transmits and records particular physical activities while you sleep. These data are analyzed by doctors with which it is determined if people are having sleep disorders. There are four different types of Polysomnographic studies conducted by the centre. They are:

Diagnostic overnight PSG – This includes general monitoring and estimation.

Diagnostic Daytime Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT) – This test measures the degree of daytime sleepiness. For accuracy, the test is conducted in the morning.

Two nights PSG with CPAP Titration – General monitoring and diagnostic evaluation is conducted on the first night. If the patient is found with sleep apnea, he or she will be asked to return the next night to check the CPAP pressure.

Split Night PSG with CPAP Titration – This test is conducted when medium or severe Sleep Apnea has been discovered in the first part of the night. The second half of the night is utilized for CPAP Titration.

The centre is all set to resolve your sleep disorders to present you a brighter trouble-free healthy tomorrow.
